ABOUT VLADIMIR

American pianist Vladimir Khomyakov is praised by audiences and critics around the world for the virtuosity, charismatic artistry, and emotional intensity of his playing, Perpetuating the heritage of European and American piano schools, he uniquely combines the traditions with the individuality of a sensitive and passionate artist.
He concertizes in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America as a pianist, conductor, chamber musician, and soloist with the world’s leading symphony orchestras, including Dresden Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, and Ningbo Symphony, among others. By the temperament of his playing, the pianist gravitates towards a large-scale romantic and post-romantic repertoire - his performances of works by Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev are distinguished by power, eloquence, and extreme emotionality, while maintaining the classical stylistic canons.
